Nick Furneaux
Although enjoying a broad understanding of digital forensics Nick has a background specialising in the investigation of computer crime and misuse, especially in the financial sector. Nick continues to work primarily in the UK, USA and Europe.
Nick is a member of the British Academy of Forensic Science and has had a number of papers published including in the prestigous journal, Medicine, Science and the Law.
He is a well-known specialist in the discipline of live forensics and is involved in the research, development and training of new tools especially covering covert applications..
He presented at the 2006 F3 conference as well as at both the ACPO Conference in 2007 and in 2008 with Hi Tech Crime officer Jim Gordon, and is set to speak at other computer forensic conferences in the next 12 months.
Nick has recently developed a number of Covert tools for use in Wifi acquisistion.
Jim Gordon
Jim has a Law Enforcement background with almost 28 years investigative experience, much of which has involved serious or organised crime. The last 5 ½ years of his career has concerned Hi Tech Crime investigations, exposing him to a wide variety of casework including Murders, Fraud, Paedophilia and for the last three years Network Investigations.
He is currently in the final year of his MSc in Forensic Computing at Cranfield University.
He is interested in the field of Live Forensics and together with Nick Furneaux of CSI Tech presented on the subject at the 2006 F3 conference as well as at both the ACPO Conference in 2007 and in 2008.
